Vivid branding complete for new Bristol school

We're delighted to announce that we've just completed the branding for an entirely new secondary school, CST Trinity Academy, which is opening in 2019, in North Bristol.

The new school crest, features a three-pointed crown that comprises of three overhead spotlights recognising the key role performing arts plays as a key specialism of the school.

In addition to the school’s two logos, Vivid also created a complete visual identity for the new institution which includes printed collateral, advertisements and a comprehensive style guide providing information on how and when to use the school’s new visual assets, typeface and colour palette.

CST Trinity Academy, will be a new secondary school opening in September 2019, in the North of Bristol. Established by the Cathedral Schools Trust (CST) Trinity Academy will initially take students in Year 7 only, growing year on year with an eventual capacity of 1220 students including sixth-form provision. Like Bristol Cathedral Choir School, it will also offer a music specialism, delivering enhanced, co-curricular opportunities for students to explore performing and creative arts.

Vivid unleash new website and branding for Newcross

Newcross Healthcare do all sorts of good deeds. From helping people find the right nurses and carers for their friends and family, when they need it most, to helping compassionate healthcare providers find their next job. All in all, they’re just pretty great at helping people. 

That’s why we were chuffed when they asked Vivid to help put together a brand-spanking new website and to give their identity a complete refresh. As you would expect from such a large healthcare provider, this was monumental task. And one that we relished. 

Newcross now has a modern and streamlined website that is easy to navigate for all their users. The end result features a universal job search for healthcare professionals; a branch finder and knowledge base, for those looking for help and information about healthcare and a modern blog so the people at Newcross can keep everyone updated with what they've been up to.

We were also tasked with refreshing the Newcross Healthcare brand identity which included creating a whole new logo for the organisation, new brand guidelines, all new building dressing, signage, brochures, magazines, stationery and even their new uniforms.

Selfie drones are here

There are many fans and detractors of selfie sticks, and while most of us here at Vivid Towers fall into the latter camp, we are absolutely ecstatic about this latest piece of tech news  a tiny selfie drone that hovers around taking impromptu snaps of you and your friends, that also doubles up as a phone case so you always have it with you. We just hope it has an auto-follow function so we can pretend we have our own personal Sparx from the Spyro series…probably won’t also collect gems for you sadly. 

The aptly named SELFLY Camera, currently seeking funds on Kickstarter, weighs less than a pound and attaches to the back of a phone case that will easily fit into most pockets. It has a battery life of just five minutes but the creator, Hagay Klein an Israeli orthodontist who packed in his day job to create the drone, testifies that this is plenty of time for a night of selfie taking.

Vivid launch new website for Abalon

Got an IT project? Maybe your networks needs upgrading or migrating, or perhaps you suddenly have a problem with your systems. Well, Abalon are the people to call. They can help with everything from projects and deployments, parachute in a team of their high experienced IT engineers and technicians to businesses in need and even help companies with recruitment to find them the very best, permanent or temporary professionals in the IT and retail industries. 

A company that offered such a comprehensive and diverse service, needed a suitably dynamic website to show just what they had to offer, that’s why we were delighted when they approached us to revamp their website. 

We had a lot of fun putting this one together and we’re super happy with the end result! The new website lays out Abalon’s three core areas of business, with tonnes of information and case studies for each area. We also integrated a live chat feature and integrated Twitter and other social media to allow clients and new customers to easily contact Abalon with any queries that might have and get a fast response.

Vivid launches App for Ramblin' Man Fair 2017!

Our latest brilliant client, Ramblin' Man Fair, put on a killer two day music festival every summer. In July, the world's best classic and prog rock, blues and country artists converge on a Maidstone field and make some noise. It's all tied together with an incredible selection of grub, grog and glamping — think craft ales, low’n’slow barbecued meats and ostrich burgers, craft beers, rare whiskey... you know the drill. The result is the perfect family-friendly weekend getaway for everyone out there who used to own a pair of leather trousers or denim vest.

And we should know. We were there a few months ago pitching an IOS and Android app that would help the 'ramblers' really get the most out of the festival – not your typical pitch setting, but better than most. And today we launch the fruits of our labour!

The official Ramblin' Man Fair 2017 app features exclusive news about the event, an in-app store to buy tickets and merch, integrated YouTube playlists, maps of the venue, schedule and lineup information, plus loads more. Making it a one stop shop for everything you need to know about Ramblin’ Man Fair 2017.

Vivid create shiny new website for MHW Associates

MHW Associates was founded back in 2011 to provide the financial innovation to connect opportunities in oil and gas with appropriate capital.

They approached us to create a sleek new website for their company which catered both for investors looking for opportunities in gas and oil, as well as the producers seeking investment. 

We worked closely with the MHW team to create an entirely new site, complete with a rather beautiful video header featuring some stunning drone footage, to the compliment MHW’s company ethos — ‘providing the alternative view’.

Vivid finalise Polystream website and branding

The wizards over at Polystream have conjured up something rather special — they’ve created the world's first 3D, pixel perfect, application streaming platform. Revolutionising how companies can reach their audience, completely free from the restrictions and limitations of existing GPU streaming technology. Allowing businesses to grow their customers from any cloud, at any scale, anywhere. 

With such a clever product they needed a suitably swish website and visual identity, which is why they enlisted our help.

We worked with Polystream to design an entirely new website that contains plenty investor-friendly information about the company, wbhile still maintaining an air of playfulness and fun, representative of the backgrounds in gaming of many of Polystream's core team members. 

We also created an entirely new visual identity for Polystream including a new logo and aided them with their branding. We’re rather pleased with the results, but why not have a little look at the end result for yourself? Check the new website here

Vivid release new brochure for Ascot Racecourse

Hello everyone! We’re ecstatic to announce that we’ve just released our first publication for Ascot Racecourse (yes, that Ascot Racecourse!) The Jumps Season Owner & Trainer Information brochure for 2016/2017. 

The people at Ascot approached us with their needs — a straightforward publication that could be given to both the owners and trainers of runners at their autumn and winter events. It needed to serve as both a newsletter for the venue and a one-stop-shop for information on things such as parking (for cars and helicopters!) veterinary surgeon contact details, all the while still being readable and of a suitably high-standard for such a prestigious venue. 

The 24 page brochure is printed on robust high quality card, perfect for surviving outdoors in the potentially inclement weather of the season, and is filled to the brim with practical information — from track maps and race listings to details about the course’s facilities and dress codes. We also loaded the brochure with gorgeous images of previous seasons at Ascot.
