Vivid

We've won an award!

For those of you who haven't already heard, last week we swept up the award for Marketing Campaign of the Year at the Bristol Post Business Awards for our 'Define Tomorrow' Campaign for the lovely people at ComputerWorld.

See below the obligatory press release to find out more.

VIVID WIN BRISTOL POST BUSINESS AWARD FOR MARKETING

Bristol based content marketing agency Vivid, has swept up the award for Marketing Campaign of the Year at the 2016 Bristol Post Business Awards.

The winning campaign entitled ‘Define Tomorrow’ was conceived for Vivid’s client ComputerWorld, one of the South West’s largest business IT companies. The multi-faceted campaign involved the design and construction of an entirely new website for the company, along with responsive email, social and video campaigns culminating in a ‘Define Tomorrow’ event which instantly became the largest business technology conference in the South West, and gained recognition from numerous industry-giants including the likes of Microsoft, Dell and VMware.

Founded by three ex-Future plc executives, Vivid was established back in 2015 as a full-service marketing agency designed to offer brands the rich story-based marketing approach which is usually reserved for consumer publishing. Blending the crafts of journalism and publishing with big brand marketing Vivid tells brilliant stories across a multitude of client channels, creating magazines, websites, events and ‘all the things the internet loves’.

We’re absolutely delighted that the Define Tomorrow campaign has received such recognition for both us and ComputerWorld, who are always a pleasure to work with. We hope this demonstrates to brands, large and small, that great marketing is simply great storytelling, and if you want to get your brand’s story out there, you need compelling content. The principle upon which we founded Vivid just 18 months ago.
— Jayne Caple, Managing Director, Vivid
To many, business IT solutions is such a dry and frankly impenetrable subject matter that attracting business leaders to an event on such a subject then without them glazing over is a difficult task. To tackle this issue we created a vibrant new thought leadership sub-brand, website, email campaign, and Bristol-based event to tell ComputerWorld’s story and convey business benefits rather than technology stories.
— Sean Atkins, Content Director, Vivid

We’ve just unveiled a new website for ComputerWorld

With over 25 years in the business there’s not much ComputerWorld don’t know about tech, and that’s why we were ecstatic when they asked us to give them a hand in creating a revolutionised new website for their brand.

ComputerWorld were looking for a simplified and fluid design based around the 6 pillars of their expertise: Virtualisation and Cloud, Business Mobility, Microsoft Technologies, Networking, Security and Training. We closely worked with ComputerWorld to create a design that would effectively direct visitors to the IT solutions that will empower their business not just today but in the future also.

The new website contains a plethora of videos, Case Studies and White Papers to demonstrate to business leaders how different solutions could increase efficiency and cut costs, we also added an instant message feature so that visitors can go directly from viewing the site to making a live enquiry with a real person.

We’re delighted with our new site. Bringing our web presence in line with our new brand has been a big priority for as has been making it available on all devices and screen size. Our library of downloadable resources should help our customers and future customers understand how technology can help their business.
— Barry Coombs, Operations Director

Shiny new website for DPI Partners. And yes, it's Vivid.

DPI Partners is a uniquely collaborative IT outsourcing solution. Frustrated with the unwieldy contracts and complexity of traditional IT outsourcing, and having spent years in the IT industry putting right difficult IT agreements, DPI's founders set about redefining the way outsourcing can be done.

The result is DPI Partners – a refreshingly different approach to IT outsourcing. And when they wanted a new responsive website to reflect their unique approach they came to Vivid.

Check it out here.
